Anniversary

HENRY AND MARGARET SARTORIS

Longtime Burbank residents, Henry and Margaret Sartoris, celebrated 60

years of marriage on Oct. 23. They were married in 1939 at St. Joan of

Arc Catholic Church in Las Vegas, Nev. They celebrated with a renewal

of their wedding vows, which was officiated by their nephew, Bishop

Joseph Sartoris of San Pedro, who added a personal touch to the ceremony.

Henry and Margaret have lived in Burbank for more than 58 years. Henry

is a retired Burbank police detective who enjoyed a 30-year career on the

force. He also recently retired from the Board of Directors of the

Burbank City Employees Federal Credit Union after 28 years of service.

Henry and Margaret have three married children; Jim Sartoris and Nancy

Baldino of Burbank and Joan Gerard of Germantown, Md. They also have

seven grandchildren.
