McDONALD-ROSS

Darcy McDonald of Glendale and David Ross of Glendora were married at

the Sierra Madre Congregational Church. The Rev. Kevin Carrington

officiated.

Both the bride and groom are one-half of a set of identical twins. The

maid of honor was Wendy McDonald, Darcy’s identical twin and the best man

was Jeff Ross, David’s identical twin.

The bridesmaids were the bride’s sister, Kimberley McDonald Panarelli,

Christie Ripple, Samantha Porter and Charmayne Ross. The ushers were the

groom’s brothers, John and Scott Ross, the bride’s brother, Greg

McDonald, and Laci Sarmiento. The ring bearer was Tyler Ross and the

flower girls were Megan Kropf and Kristin Ross.

A reception followed at The Ventura Club. Cocktails and hors d’oeuvres

were followed by a sit-down dinner and dancing. Many out-of-town guests

attended. The couple honeymooned in Santa Barbara and will reside in

Glendora.

The bride is the daughter of Sharon McDonald Martin of Glendale and

Robert McDonald of Glendora.

She graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a bachelor’s degree in liberal

studies and from Azusa Pacific University with a master’s degree in

education. She is a kindergarten teacher with the Monrovia Unified School

District.

The groom is the son of the late James Ross and Joan Ross of Temple

City.

He graduated from Cal Poly Pomona with a bacehelor’s degree in liberal

studies and from Azusa Pacific University with a master’s degree in

education. He is a teacher with the Monrovia Unified School District.

NEUMEIER-BENNETT

Tiffany Neumeier and Eric Bennett were married at American Martyr’s

Church in Manhattan Beach. The Rev. Lawrence Signey officiated.

Carrie Neumeier was the maid of honor. Tracy Neumeier and three

college friends were the bridesmaids. Kevin Neumeier was the best man for

the bride. Eric had his two brothers, Kevin and Tim, as his best men and

four high school friends acted as groomsmen.

A reception followed at the Portofino Inn in Redondo Beach. Eric

went to Simi High School and graduated in 1993. He was the quarterback

for Simi and The University of Nevada, Reno, where he graduated in 1999.

Tiffany graduated from La Canada High School in 1994. She graduate from

the University of Nevada, Reno where she played volleyball and met Eric

in the training room.

The couple work in the Reno area and are building a house in the

Spanish Springs area of Reno.

The two have been dating for three years and were engaged last New

Year’s.

SARTORIS-MAGLEY

Lisa Sartoris and Jeffrey Magley were married at San Roque Catholic

Church in Santa Barbara. Bishop Joseph Sartoris, Lisa’s cousin,

officiated.

The maid of honor was Katherine Bomar and the best man was Joseph

Magley. A reception followed at the Radisson Hotel.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Sartoris of Burbank. She

graduated from Burroughs High School and attended Glendale Community

College before graduating from Westmont College with a bachelor’s degree

in kinesiology. She competed in the heptathalon where she placed 10th in

the nation in 1998.

The groom is the son of Dr. Randy and Pat Magley of Enumclaw, Wash.

He graduated from Westmont College with a bachelor’s degree in

kinesiology and was a decathlete and track team captain. He is pursuing a

master’s degree in exercise physiology at Northern Colorado University.

The couple resides in Greely, Colo.

PATTERSON - BROWN

Kristen Dee Patterson and Seth Damon Brown exchanged wedding vows at

the La Crescenta Presbyterian Church. The Rev. Dr. Charles Svendsen

officiated.

The reception following the ceremony was held at Occidental College,

where the couple met.

Kristen, the daughter of Patrick and Laurie Patterson of Burbank,

graduated from John Burroughs High School. She obtained her bachelor’s

degree in history for Occidental College and will earn her master’s

degree from UCLA this winter.

She works at L.A. Care Health Plan as a media associate in the Media

Relations Department.

Seth, the son of Alton and Lois Brown of Glendale, graduated from St.

Francis High School and also obtained his bachelor’s degree from

Occidental College.

He is a senior new accounts representative at Sanwa Bank.

The maid of honor was Carolyn Caywood. Bridesmaids were Daniella Grga

and Summer Rasmussen, cousin of the bride.

David Minsky was the best man. Groomsmen were Aaron Johnson and

Jonathan Reilly.

The flower girl was Kelsey Toms, daughter of the bride’s second cousin

and soloist Elizabeth Toms. Gift attendants were Samantha and Ashley

Wooten, also cousins of the bride.

Out-of-town guests included the groom’s sister and her husband, Laura

Brown and Bruce MacKinnon of New York; the bride’s uncle and aunt, Mark

and Michelle Rasmussen of Kansas; great-aunt Cynthia Cole of San Rafael;

and several members of her family from Washington and the Bay Area.

The couple honeymooned in Northern California, and are at home in

Eagle Rock.
