Glendale performer featured at music fest
EAGLE ROCK -- The First Annual Eagle Rock Music Festival will be from
6 to 11 p.m. today starting at the Cultural Center and continuing down
Colorado Boulevard to various restaurants and businesses.
A variety of musical groups and individuals will perform, including
singer Holly Montgomery of Glendale. Other acts include Ritt Henn, Grupo
Sentir Latino and the Bill Minderhout Jazz Quartet. Locations along the
boulevards will feature store-front art displays by students of “Art on
Site,” an after-school program at Eagle Rock junior and senior high
schools.

College choir presents winter concert
SAN MARINO -- The Concert Singers and Concert and Brass choirs of
Glendale Community College will perform at 4 p.m. Sunday at San Marino
Community Church, 1750 Virginia Road, San Marino.
The choirs will perform selections by Johannes Brahms and Robert
Schumann. The featured work will be “Gloria” by John Rutter. The choirs
will present other holiday literature including a “Musicological Journey
through the Twelve Days of Christmas” and a setting of E.E. Cummings’
poem “Little Tree.” Glenn DeLange is musical director and Chie Nagatani
is pianist.
Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and seniors. Tickets
will be available an hour before the performance at the door.
