ROSE SAENZ JANOFSKY
Rose Saenz Janofsky, 80, died Nov. 29, 1999, in Burbank.
Mrs. Janofsky was born in Arizona and lived in Burbank since she was a
year old. She worked as a solderer for 25 years at IERC.
She is survived by her daughter Sandra Jean Ross of Burbank; sisters
Ester Samples, Nellie Chavez and Eva Brennan, all of Burbank; brothers
Sal Saenz, Alex Saenz of Burbank and Albert Saenz; and grandchildren and
great-grandchildren.
A vigil service was held Wednesday at Eckerman-Heisman Funeral Service
Chapel.
A graveside service will be at 11 a.m. today at Grand View Memorial
Park in Glendale.
VINCENT TORRES ORTIZ
Vincent Torres Ortiz, 72, died Nov. 27, 1999, in Burbank.
He was a lifelong Burbank resident.
Mr. Ortiz was a disabled Army veteran who fought in World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Sandra; son, Vincent; daughter, Stacy
Ortiz; and grandchildren, Anastasia and Brianna Gunton.
Memorial services were private.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one’s own
choice.
JUANITA M. MCKEOWN
Juanita M. McKeown, 93, died Nov. 28, 1999.
Mrs. McKeown was born in Portland, Ore. She was a Burbank resident for
seven years. She was a member of the American Numismatic Foundation for
20 years and a past president of the Pacific Northwest Numismatic
Association. She was also a member of the Frazier Coin Club and a 75-year
member of Order of the Eastern Star.
She is survived by her daughters, Diane R. Dietz and Sheila; son,
Edward; six grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and six
great-great-grandchildren.
Services were private.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a local hospital.
