PERINA VIRGINIA LACHIMIA
Perina Virginia Lachimia, 94, died Feb. 8, 2000, in Glendale.
Mrs. Lachimia was born in Philadelphia and lived in Burbank for 25
years. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church for 10 years.
She is survived by her son, Felice Ingrassia; daughter, Marguerite
Grover; granddaughter, Gianni Larkins; and great-granddaughter, Michelle
Larkins, of Burbank.
Services were held Tuesday at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood
Hills.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the American
Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.
FLORENCE JOAN PETRUCCO
Florence Joan Petrucco, 88, died Feb. 13, 2000, at Glendale Adventist
Hospital.
Mrs. Petrucco lived in Burbank for 55 years and was dedicated to
raising her family.
She is survived by her son, Robert; daughter, Dolores Haramia;
granddaughter, Pilar Tellez; and brothers, Angelo and Gino Colonello.
A rosary service was held Wednesday and a Funeral Mass Thursday at St.
Finbar Church. Interment followed at San Fernando Mission Cemetery,
Mission Hills.
KATHLEEN A. AU
Kathleen A. Au, 69, died Feb. 10, 2000, in Tarzana.
Mrs. Au was born in Burbank and lived in the city for many years. She
was a member of Galloping Gourmets, Equestrian Trails International
Corral No. 20 and she supported the Wildlife Waystation.
She is survived by her husband, Robert; sons Kurt, and Daniel Stark;
stepdaughters, Sue Kisesky, Sally Dawson and Shirley Kurtz; six
grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Tuesday at First United Methodist Church of
Burbank. Interment was at Grand View Memorial Park.
WILBUR E. DIXON
Wilbur E. Dixon, 76, died February 13, 2000, in Foster City.
Mr. Dixon was born in Burbank and lived in the city for 30 years.
Prior to a 30-year career as a Los Angles police officer, Mr. Dixon was a
professional baseball player, playing for the Hollywood Stars and the
Albuquerque Dukes. He was also a World War II veteran and a member of
American Legion Post No. 0381.
He is survived by his wife, Helen; daughter, Diane E. Sabol; two
grandchildren; and twin brother, William.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at First United Methodist Church
of Burbank. Interment followed at Grand View Memorial Park.
OLGA GIERENS
Olga Gierens, 79, died Feb. 13, 2000, in Burbank.
Mrs. Gierens was born in Kerman and lived in Burbank for 63 years. She
owned Tiffany’s and was a beautician for many years.
She is survived by her daughters, Joan L. Feller and Cathy Blomenkamp,
both of Burbank; and brother, Nick Chalko.
A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. today at First Church of
Religious Science of Burbank. Graveside services were Thursday at Forest
Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills.
