OBITUARY

DANIEL JOHN DELLA PORTA

Daniel John Della Porta, 36, died March 21, 2000.

Mr. Della Porta lived in Burbank his entire life. He attended John

Burroughs High School.

He is survived by his son, Jon Paul; and parents, John and Pauline

Della Porta.

A viewing was held Wednesday at Forest Lawn Mortuary, Hollywood Hills.

Services were held Thursday at St. Charles Parish, North Hollywood.

LILLIAN M. MOBLEY

Lillian M. Mobley, 102, died April 4, 2000, in Glendale.

Mrs. Mobley was born in Ardmore, Oklahoma Indian Territory in 1897 and

lived in Burbank for 50 years. She was a real estate agent for Bill

Cusick Realty in Glendale for 35 years, retiring at the age of 90. Mrs.

Mobley was also a member of St. David’s Episcopal Church of North

Hollywood.

She is survived by her daughters, Charlon Caskey Cusick of Burbank and

Gloria Carroll; granddaughter, Charlon M. Franke; and

great-granddaughters, Gloria Franke and Lauren Franke.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Herman.

Services begin at 1 p.m. today at Eckerman-Heisman Funeral Service

Chapel. Visitation was Friday. Interment will be private.

MYRON F. VITTETOE

Myron F. Vittetoe, 86, died March 23, 1999, in Glendale, Ore.

Mr. Vittetoe was born in Greeley, Colo., and lived in Burbank for 47

years. He was a cabinet maker for Columbia Showcase in Sun Valley before

retiring in 1972.

He is survived by his son, Phil; daughters, Lois Muck and Barbara

Wheeler; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothea.

DOROTHY ‘DOTTIE’ FRICKER

Dorothy “Dottie” Fricker, 59, died March 19, 2000, in Burbank.

Mrs. Fricker was born in Des Moines, Iowa. She worked at John’s

Hallmark in Burbank.

She is survived by her husband, Robert O. Fricker, of Burbank; son,

Butch; daughters, Deborah and Renee; mother, Marjorie McKevitt; father,

Edward Lewandowski; brother, Eddie; and grandchildren.

Services were March 23 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood Hills.

MARGARET E. SCHNEIDER

Margaret E. Schneider, 83, died April 1, 2000, in Burbank.

Mrs. Schneider was born in Caruthersville, Mo., and lived in Burbank

for 15 years. She worked as a photographer for 30 years.

She is survived by her daughter, Faye I. Loskamp, of Burbank; sister,

Edith J. Harris; and grandchildren, Nelson, Powell and Alese.

Services and interment were private.

WARREN EDWARD HESS

Warren Edward Hess, 65, died April 1, 2000.

Mr. Hess was born in Glendale and lived in Burbank for 50 years. He

was a Burbank police officer for 30 years, serving as patrolman and motor

officer. He also gave department safety talks.

He is survived by his wife of 45 years, Viretta; sons, Spencer, of

Burbank and Brian; daughter, Deborah ; grandsons, Christopher Warren Cole

and Thomas Warren Hess; brother, Craig; and nephews, Dean and Mark Hess.

Services will be private.
