BURBANK -- Kindergarten registration for the 2000-2001 school year

begins this week.

To register, parents or guardians must show utility bills to establish

residency and the child’s birth record, written evidence of immunizations

and tuberculosis screening. The registration times for Burbank’s 11

public elementary schools are listed below.

Bret Harte Elementary: beginning Thursday, register from 9 to 11 a.m.

and 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. daily.

George Washington: register May 10 and 24 from 9 to 11 a.m., May 17

from 2 to 3 p.m. and May 31 from 9 to 10 a.m. and 2 to 3 p.m.

Theodore Roosevelt: register continually throughout May.

Ralph Emerson: from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily.

Robert Louis Stevenson: registration begins May 18 and continues daily

from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Walt Disney: register by appointment Tuesdays, Wednesdays and

Thursdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

Thomas Edison: register daily from 8:30 a.m. to noon.

Thomas Jefferson: register daily from 9 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

William McKinley: register by appointment daily from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30

p.m.

Joaquin Miller: register daily from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Providencia : register by appointment only.
