Amanda Marie Ivey of Burbank was named to the dean’s list at the UC
Santa Barbara.
She is in the Letters and Science program.
Lindsay A. Maas of Burbank was named to the dean’s list at the UC
Santa Barbara.
She is a communications and sociology major.
Gregory Romero of Burbank was named to the dean’s list at the UC Santa
Barbara.
He is a Spanish and sociology major.
Chris Doyle, the son of Mark and Betty Doyle of Glendale, was promoted
to vice president of public relations for The American Century Securities
Fund of Kansas City, Mo.
He attended Bellarime-Jefferson High School and graduated from Cal
State Northridge with a degree in journalism.
Jennifer Lorraine Farah and Christopher George Khoury of St. Francis
Xavier School in Burbank have been named California Junior Scholarship
Federation Outstanding Students. They received the Marian Huhn Memorial
Award.
Both nominees are in eighth grade.
A student must demonstrate an outstanding performance record and must
have achieved academic honors.
Kendall Nohre will graduate with general honors from the University of
Miami this month. She will receive a bachelor’s degree in speech
communications and history.
She is on the dean’s list and is a member of Phi Alpha Theta, the
international honor society in history. She is also a member of the
Golden Key National Honors Society, Gamma Sigma Alpha, the Greek honors
society and the Delta Gamma Sorority.
She has a grade point average of 3.52. In her sophomore year, she
sailed around the world as a “Semester at Sea” participant. Last year,
she studied at the American University of Paris, France.
She hopes to work in Southern California after graduation.
