OBITUARY

CYRIL J. BOYSEN

Cyril J. Boysen, 81, died May 25, 2000.

Mr. Boysen was born in Iowa and lived in Burbank since 1954. He served

in the U.S. Navy during World War II.

He was superintendent of the Los Angeles meatpacking plant, John

Morrell and Co.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years, Dolores; sons, Thomas, Joseph,

Richard, Jeffrey and James; daughters, Frances Champ, Barbara Forth, Joan

Boysen, Jean Swanson, Theresa Eiguren and Elizabeth Sirk; 35

grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by

sons Robert and Michael.

Services were held May 31 at St. Finbar Catholic Church.

TILLMAN C. EURICH

Tillman C. Eurich, 86, died May 26, 2000, in Las Vegas. Mr. Eurich was

born in Galatia, Kan. He lived in Burbank for 50 years. He was a retired

auto mechanic and a member of Burbank Elks 1497 for 58 years.

He is survived by his daughter, Jo Ann Cierlak, and sister, Joyce

Karst.

Services were held June 2 at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Hollywood

Hills.

DONOVAN S. COOPER

Donovan S. Cooper, 52, died June 3, 2000, in Burbank.

Mr. Cooper was born in Red Oak, Iowa. He lived in Burbank for 18

years. He was a manager for the Federal Bankruptcy Court and chairman of

the National Federation for the Blind.

He is survived by his wife, Trudie Lee; brother, Eldon B. Falk;

sisters, Gwendolyn Lapp and Marilyn Cornman; and stepdaughter, Adrienne

Kernell.

Services were Tuesday at Eckerman-Heisman Funeral Service Chapter.

Interment was in Omaha, Neb.

HELEN LOUISE SOUTHWORTH

Helen Louise Southworth, 84, died June 3, 2000, in Burbank.

Mrs. Southworth was born in Manila, Philippines, where her parents

served in the U.S. Army Education Corps. She lived in Burbank for more

than 50 years.

A graduate of UCLA, Mrs. Southworth held memberships in the PEO,

Thompson Memorial Hospital Guild and the First United Methodist Churches

of Glendale and Burbank.

She is survived by her husband of 58 years, John; sons, John and

David; sister, Jean Williams; and five grandchildren.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at First United

Methodist Church.
