James and Lisle Stoner
Burbank residents James T. and Lisle I. Stoner celebrated their 60th
wedding anniversary June 8.
James was born Feb. 27, 1912, in a log cabin in Alberta, Canada. Lisle
was born April 4, 1919, in Everly, Iowa. They were married in 1940 at the
Little Brown Church, in Neshua, Iowa. The couple moved to Burbank where
James worked for Lockheed for 27 years and Lisle was a homemaker for many
years, before working for Burbank Hearing Aid from 1977 to 1995.
They have a son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Dorothy Stoner and a
granddaughter, Kirsten Stoner.
The couple will have an anniversary dinner at The Castaway.
