Heather Jillene “Jill” Lackey of Burbank and Luis Robert “Bobby”
Machuca of Sun Valley were married at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church
in Burbank.
The Rev. Michael Coohig officiated.
The maid of honor was Megan Lackey and the matron of honor was Vickie
O’Neill. The bridesmaids were Nita Dahlia, Joslynn Lurie, and Sarah
Buller. The flower girl was Allie Martin, and her escort was Blake
Corrington.
The best men were William Barnett and Nick Gergov. The groomsmen were
David Machuca, Anthony Pawluc, and Tony Cusumano. Jake Russo was the ring
bearer.
The church was filled with students, cheerleaders, basketball players
and baseball players from Burbank High School were both the bride and
groom are coaches.
A reception followed in the Grand Ballroom of the Hilton Glendale. A
trio of varsity cheerleaders sang “From This Moment” as a gift from the
bride to her groom. Laura Dobbin, Tawny McCorkle and Brittany Middleton
were the honored soloists.
The bride is the daughter of school board member Connie and Victor B.
Lackey of Burbank. She graduated from Burbank High School, where she now
works in special education and coaches cheerleading.
The groom is a 1992 graduate of Bellarmine-Jefferson High School, and
works for Prime Post, Inc.
The couple cruised the Western Caribbean on their honeymoon. They are
looking for a home in Burbank.
