Health care group changes name, offices

BURBANK VILLAGE -- Partners in Care Foundation, formally Visiting
Nurse Assn., has moved to a bigger and “more professional-looking
office,” Chief Executive Officer June Simmons said.
The organization is still at 101 S. 1st St., but has moved from suite
407 to 1000.
In addition to the new office space, Partners in Care received $46,000
in new equipment from local businesses who support its mission, Simmons
said.
Had the equipment not have been donated, it may have been awhile
before the organization updated its look.
“We don’t like to spend our money on furniture,” Simmons said. “We’d
rather spend it on helping the community.”
Partners in Care Foundation works to create new models of health care
by helping people in the health and social service communities, Simmons
said.
