The following incidents were taken from police reports.

MAGNOLIA DISTRICT

* 200 block of North Lincoln Avenue: A 13-year-old Burbank boy was

arrested on suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon Aug. 4 after

allegedly striking a 45-year-old Burbank man with a baseball bat, police

said. The victim, the boy and the boy’s mother were in a car, when the

victim got out, and the boy allegedly got out and struck the man on the

thigh, police said.

SOUTH SAN FERNANDO DISTRICT

* Intersection of San Fernando Boulevard and Verdugo Avenue: A

19-year-old man was stabbed in the chest Friday after eight males

allegedly approached his car, police said. The victim sustained a wound

to the chest and was treated at Providence St. Joseph Medical Center for

a collapsed lung, police said.

* 500 block of Lake Street: A 20-year-old Glendale man was arrested on

suspicion of possessing a switchblade on Aug. 4, police said. A

17-year-old boy, seen with the 20-year-old, was arrested on suspicion of

possessing less than an ounce of marijuana, police said.

* 600 block of East Providencia Avenue: A 42-year-old Burbank woman

said a 33-year-old man from Burbank came home on Monday and began

insulting her. The man allegedly shoved the woman, and she ended up with

a 5-inch scratch on her chest, police said. The man was arrested on

suspicion of spousal abuse, police said.

HILLSIDE DISTRICT

* 200 block of East Olive Avenue: A 25-year-old Los Angeles man was

arrested on suspicion of battery on Aug. 4 after hitting a 23-year-old

Los Angeles man in the eye, police said. Officers restrained the

25-year-old man with pepper spray, police said.

NORTHWEST DISTRICT * 4400 block of Clybourn Avenue: A 73-year-old

North Hollywood man was arrested on suspicion of drunken driving on

Saturday after police said he was driving and swerving on the wrong side

of the street, police said.

MEDIA DISTRICT NORTH

* 1800 block of East Jackson Street: A Los Angeles man was arrested on

suspicion of domestic violence on Monday after allegedly throwing a chair

at a 30-year-old woman on Monday, police said. The woman reached up to

block the chair with her arm, but apparently was not injured seriously,

police said.
