ECHEVERRIA -- GROSS

Blanca E. Echeverria of Sunland and James H. Gross of San Diego have

announced their engagement and will be married later this month.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Maria and Jose A. Echeverria of

Sunland.

Blanca works in the Information Technology Department for the city of

Burbank.

The groom-to-be is the son of the late Doris L. Gross and the late

Henry Gross, who lived in Encino.

James graduated from San Diego State University, where he majored in

environmental design. He is self-employed.

LUDWICK -- BAX

Elizabeth Ludwick and Michael Bax have announced their plans to marry

in September.

The bride-to-be is the daughter of Alice Ludwick and the late John

Ludwick of Tucson, Ariz. She is a script supervisor in the film and

television industry.

The groom-to-be is the son of Arthur and Barbara Bax of Acton. He is a

Realtor with Re/Max Town Center Realty in Burbank.

The couple plan to continue to live in Burbank after the ceremony.
