TOLUCA LAKE -- Police are investigating a robbery at the Bank of
America at 255 N. Pass Ave.
At least two men entered the bank Thursday, brandishing handguns and
jumping on counters, Burbank Police Sgt. Craig Ratliff said.
No one was hurt in the afternoon incident, and there was only one
customer -- an elderly man -- in the bank at the time, Ratliff said. The
man was pushed against a wall but not seriously hurt.
Police believe three to five men were involved in the robbery, and
they fled possibly in a white Nissan Maxima, Ratliff said.
Police were not sure as of Friday how much money was taken.
A backpack with a handgun inside was found outside the bank, Ratliff
said.
