Latino Spirit Award goes to Burbank resident

SACRAMENTO -- Actress Dyana Ortelli received the Latino Spirit Award
from Assemblyman Dario Frommer (D-Burbank) and the California State
Assembly during assembly session.
The award honors California Latinos who contribute to the state’s
culture and economy.
The Burbank resident, who received the award Tuesday, has worked as a
stand-up comic and a television and film actress. Her television credits
include “Seinfeld,” and “N.Y.P.D. Blue,” and she has appeared in the
films “La Bamba,” “Luminarias” and “The Three Amigos.”
Other recipients included boxer Oscar De La Hoya, San Francisco 49er
Jeff Garcia and the music group Los Tigres del Norte.
