* 599 Hollywood Way: A 17-year-old Van Nuys boy was arrested

Monday on suspicion of attempted carjacking after demanding a woman’s

car while she was pumping gas at a Shell station. The boy chased her

around her car and demanded her keys as she yelled for help, police

said.

BURBANK VILLAGE

* 100 block of East Magnolia Boulevard: A 62-year-old Burbank

man was arrested Sunday after driving his car into a median, police

said. The man later failed a field sobriety test, police said.

* 100 block of Olive Avenue: A 33-year-old Lancaster man was

arrested Sunday after chasing after two men, 19 and 22, off a bus and

toward a liquor store, police said. The suspect allegedly demanded

the necklace the 19-year-old was wearing.
