Credit union conducting money-management classes to students
Independent Advantage, Burbank City Employees Federal Credit
Union’s program, teaches students 15 to 18 the skills needed for
successful money management. Four sessions will be offered from 5:45
to 8:30 p.m. beginning Tuesday. Classes are free and dinner is served
at the start of each class.
In the first session, students learn about checking-account
basics. On Jan. 21, the subject is electronic access. Students learn
about credit cards and lending basics Jan. 28 and budgeting Feb. 4.
All classes are at the credit union, 1800 W. Magnolia Blvd. To
