car in the Fry’s parking lot Wednesday when another man threatened

him with a knife and then drove away, police said.

17-year-old girl was walking to school Wednesday when a 19-year-old

man approached her and threatened to kill her, police said.

* 200 block of West Tujunga Avenue: A 32-year-old Burbank man was

arrested Wednesday when, during a probation check at his girl-

friend’s home, he was found to be a violent sex offender who failed

to register as one, police said.
