PHILLIP ALEXANDER LEARY

Phillip Alexander Leary, 92, died Jan. 24, 2003, in Sun Valley.

Born Feb. 26, 1910, in Sioux City, Iowa, he lived in Burbank for

five years and worked as an aircraft jig builder. He was a 25-year

member of the Knights of Columbus.

Mr. Leary is survived by his son, John Nicholas Leary; daughter,

Mary Margaret McQueen; four grandchildren; and four

great-grandchildren.

The visitation for family and friends is from 4 to 8 p.m. today,

with the vigil service at 7 p.m. at the Valley Funeral Home, 2121 W.

Burbank Blvd. Mass of Christian burial is at 10 a.m. Thursday at

Villa Scalabrini, 10631 Vinedale St., Sun Valley.

ROYCE E. RICHARDS

Royce E. Richards, 64, died Jan. 22, 2003, in Burbank.

Born Dec. 2, 1938, in Nebraska, he was a 25-year Burbank resident.

He was also a veteran of the United States Air Force and was the

transportation coordinator of the Los Angeles Olympic Committee

during the 1984 Olympics.

Mr. Richards is survived by his daughter, Lisa Fegley; sons,

Roderick, Rodney and Andrew Richards; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services and burial are Saturday at Prairie Union Cemetery

in Shubert, Neb.
