St. Robert Bellarmine registers new students

HILLSIDE DISTRICT -- St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic Elementary

School is having new student registration for kindergarten to seventh

grade from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Sunday in the school office at 520 E.

Skate park gets rolling

NORTHWEST DISTRICT -- Valley Park skate park for skateboarders and

rollerbladers opened last month to individuals and groups.

Burbank’s newest recreation facility offers yearly passes of $40

to $50, daily rates of $3 to $5, weekly passes of $8 to $10. The park

can be reserved for parties or special occasions.

All skaters must be registered and have a waiver signed by a

parent. Skaters are required to wear a helmet, as well as elbow and

knee pads.

The park is open 3:30 to 7 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, and 10

a.m. to 5 p.m. weekends. It is at 1625 N. Valley St.
