THOMAS M. GIAMBRA
Thomas M. Giambra, 85, died Feb. 8, 2003, in Burbank.
Born Feb. 10, 1917, in Pittston, Penn., he was a 53-year resident
of Burbank who worked as a painter for 30 years. He also was a member
of the Local 1595 Painter’s Union.
Mr. Giambra is survived by his wife, Mary; daughter, Marge Allen;
son, Robert; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
The visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today, with a vigil service at
7 p.m. at the Valley Funeral Home, 2121 W. Burbank Blvd. The burial
Mass is 9:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Francis Xavier Church, 3801 Scott
Road. The interment is at Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills.
IRENE NELSON HAYNES
Irene Nelson Haynes, 94, died Feb. 8, 2003, in Burbank.
Born March 4, 1908, in Edmonton, Canada, she lived in her
daughter’s Burbank home for six months. She worked as a registered
nurse and the assistant director of nursing at the Long Beach General
Hospital.
Mrs. Haynes is survived by her daughter, Bobbie Norman; two
granddaughters, Katherine Hardy and Lee Todd; and three
great-grandchildren.
A graveside service is at 11 a.m. Friday at Rose Hills Memorial
Park, 3888 Workman Mill Rd. in Whittier. A memorial service is 11
a.m. Saturday at the First United Methodist Church, 700 N. Glenoaks
Blvd.
ROSANNA SUDANO
Rosanna Sudano, 98, died Feb. 8, 2003, in Union City.
Born April 9, 1904, in Wellington, Texas, she lived in Burbank for
more than 50 years.
Her husband was a 50-year member of the Burbank Masonic Lodge and
she was known as “Granny” to the organization. She was also a
longtime supporter of Job’s Daughter’s in Los Angeles, Burbank and
Glendale.
Mrs. Sudano is survived by 11 grandchildren; 25 great-
grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
The graveside service is at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Glen Haven
Memorial Park, 13017 N. Lopez Canyon Road in Sylmar.
DOMINIC JOHN RONDINELLA
Dominic John Rondinella, 77, died Feb. 10, 2003, in Burbank.
Born Feb. 12, 1925, in Chicago, he was a 45-year Burbank resident
who worked as a mail carrier, as well as a realtor and developer.
Mr. Rondinella is survived by his wife, Mae; daughters, Donna
Lowande and Linda Osgood; sons, Dominic Jr., Robert and Tony; and 17
grandchildren.
The rosary is at 7 p.m. Thursday and the funeral is at 10 a.m.
Friday at St. Robert Bellarmine Church, 133 N. Fifth St.
