DEADLINE FOR LETTERS

The Leader’s last election-related letters to the editor will be

published Wednesday, making noon Tuesday the deadline for such

submissions. We cannot guarantee all letters submitted will be

published, and some might be edited for content and length. Letters

can be submitted via fax at 954-9439, e-mail at bleader@latimes.com

or mail at 220 N. Glenoaks Blvd., Suite B, Burbank, CA 91502. The

primary election for City Council, school board, Measure L and

Measure M is Feb. 25.

HOLIDAY CLOSURES

The following places will be closed Monday in observance of

Presidents Day:

* All city offices, including City Hall.

* All libraries, post offices and most banks.

* All national and state offices, including Social Security and

DMV.

* The Leader office.

* Trash collection will proceed on schedule and most parks will

be open, as will all police and fire stations.
