HILLSIDE DISTRICT

* 1200 block of East Elmwood Avenue: A Burbank man reported

Saturday his 10-year-old African parrot and cage were stolen from his

garage. The man told police he left the garage open while he went

inside for lunch and returned to find the bird missing. The bird and

cage are valued at $6,000.

SOUTH SAN FERNANDO DISTRICT

* 100 block of West Elmwood Avenue: Police are investigating a

report a man videotaped a 14-year-old Burbank girl while she was in

the shower. The girl told police she reached out of the shower to get

a bottle of shampoo and noticed a man outside the bathroom window

with a video camera. The man reportedly ran away.

MEDIA CITY CENTER

* 111 E. Magnolia Blvd.: Police are looking for a man who

allegedly spit on a Sears security guard when store officials refused

to let him return a soiled mattress. The man reportedly became upset

and began screaming obscenities at the clerk, causing security guards

to approach him. He then spit in the face of one of guards and ran to

a nearby parking lot.
