Closures continue along 134 Freeway

Sections of the Ventura (134) Freeway will be closed intermittently

through Friday as work continues on a $6.8 million soundwall

construction project.

One lane of the westbound Ventura Freeway connector to the

northbound Hollywood (170) Freeway will be closed from 8 a.m. to 5

p.m. daily, while the eastbound and westbound lanes of Riverside

Drive between the Ventura Freeway undercrossing and Hortense Street

will be closed intermittently during that time, Caltrans officials

said.

Several local roadways will be closed overnight from 7 p.m. to 6

a.m. They include: the Hollywood Way onramp to the westbound Ventura

Freeway; the westbound Ventura Freeway offramp to Cahuenga Boulevard;

at least one lane of the westbound Ventura Freeway from Hollywood Way

to Lankershim Boulevard; the westbound Ventura Freeway connector to

the northbound Hollywood Freeway; and one lane of the northbound

Hollywood Freeway from the Ventura Freeway connector to Tujunga

Avenue.

From 11 p.m. to 6 a.m., the westbound Ventura Freeway off-ramp to

Lankershim Boulevard will be closed. Access to businesses and homes

will be maintained during construction, Caltrans officials said.
