The following incidents were taken from police reports.

BURBANK VILLAGE

* Palm Avenue and Third Street: Police arrested four men early

Saturday on suspicion of fist-fighting in the street. It took several

officers to separate the men, who had been kicked out of a nearby

bar. The men were all in their mid-20s; three were from Sylmar and

one was from Palmdale.

MEDIA DISTRICT WEST

* 301 Pass Ave.: A 42-year-old Los Angeles man was arrested

Saturday on suspicion of lunging at Vons security guards with a

screwdriver while attempting to steal champagne. Security staff told

police they stopped the man as he tried to leave with five bottles of

champagne. The man allegedly waved a screwdriver and lunged at the

guards before they were able to hold him down until police arrived.

SOUTH SAN FERNANDO DISTRICT

* 200 block of West Verdugo Avenue: A 26-year-old Burbank woman

told police Friday a man took her purse and threatened to stab her.

She had just entered the gated parking area of her apartment when a

man in dark clothes threatened her with what she described as a sharp

gray tool. The man took her purse, then ordered her to lie down as he

ran away.

HILLSIDE DISTRICT

* 900 block of Walnut Avenue: A 39-year-old Burbank woman was

handcuffed and robbed at her home Thursday. She told police when she

opened her door, a man and woman wearing ski masks and gloves came

in, handcuffed her and ransacked her house. They stole jewelry from

her home.
