Chamber luncheon is Thursday

HILLSIDE DISTRICT -- Local businesses are invited to network at

the monthly Business Connection Luncheon hosted by the Burbank

Chamber of Commerce.

The Glendale Assn. For the Retarded is sponsoring the event at

11:30 a.m. Thursday at the Castaway, 1250 Har- vard Road. Burbank

Community Development Director Sue Georgino is the guest speaker.

Tickets are $20 for members, $25 for prospective members. For more

Ernst & Young seeks entrepreneurs

BURBANK -- Ernst & Young is accepting nominations for Los Angeles

area entrepreneurs for its 17th annual Entrepreneur of the Year

awards.

To be eligible for an award, the nominee must be an owner or

manager of a private or public company who is primarily responsible

for the recent performance of the company and an active member of top

management.
