Nature Center throws fund-raiser

Tickets are available for a March 22 party to celebrate and support

programs at the Stough Canyon Nature Center.

The evening will feature entertainment, appetizers, an astronomy

demonstration and prizes. It will give nature-lovers a chance to

dress up for an event at the center, which usually draws more

casually clad visitors.

Tickets are $25 donation per person, and can be purchased at the

center at 2300 Walnut Ave. or by mailing a check payable to Burbank

Community Services Fund -- NATURE, to Stough Canyon Nature Center
