LILLY EVELYN FESPERMAN

Lilly Evelyn Fesperman, 91, died March 14, 2003, in Burbank.

Born June 27, 1911, in Santa Rosa, she was a 51-year Burbank

resident who worked as a secretary at Lincoln Elementary School for

10 years.

Mrs. Fesperman was a member of the La Cadena Women’s Club of

Burbank and volunteered at the Burbank Temporary Aid Center and the

American Red Cross.

She is survived by one son, Ken; granddaughter Kelly Oliveira; and

two great-grandchildren.

Graveside service is at 1 p.m. Saturday at Forest Lawn, Hollywood

Hills.

JOHN STANLEY BREWSTER

John Stanley Brewster, 77, died March 12, 2003, in Burbank.

Born Jan. 20, 1926, in Newark, N.J., he lived in Burbank for 55

years.

Mr. Brewster was a Burbank Police officer for 25 years. He was a

World War II veteran, having served in the Navy from 1942 to 1946.

He is survived by his wife Thelma; daughters Sherry Wait, Patricia

Starks, Mary Brodsky and Diane Leone; son Michael; and 14

grandchildren.

Funeral services were Tuesday at Pierce Bros. Valhalla Mortuary.

ZAKIE ESHOU TARZI

Zakie Eshou Tarzi, 83, died March 15, 2003 in Glendale.

Born Jan. 1, 1920 in Unfa, Turkey, she lived in Burbank and was a

housewife.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary; sons, Joseph, Jack and

Albert; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Funeral services are at 11 a.m. Thursday at St. Ephraim Syrian

Orthodox Church, 900 N. Glenoaks Blvd.
