Michael E. Bang, son of Soo Min...

Michael E. Bang, son of Soo Min and Christine Bang of Burbank, has

received an Army Reserve Officer Training Corps scholarship for two

years at Virginia Military Institute in Lexington, Va. He is a 2000

graduate of Burbank High School.

Air Force Airman Adam L. Baumgarten, brother of Jacob Baumgarten

of Burbank, has graduated from basic military training at Lackland

Air Force Base in San Antonio. He is a 2002 graduate from John

Burroughs High School.

Army 2nd Lt. Michael S. Blackburn, son of Nick B. and Marilyn F.

Blackburn of Burbank, has graduated from the signal officer basic

course at Fort Gordon in Augusta, Ga. He is a 1990 graduate of John

Burroughs High School and a 2002 graduate from Pacific Lutheran

University in Tacoma, Wash.

He is assigned to the 172nd Infantry Brigade at Fort Wainwright

in Fairbanks, Alaska.

Air Force Airman Cara L. Blackwell, daughter of Cathy and Martin

Rowley of Burbank, has graduated from basic military training at

Lackland Air Force Base in San Antonio. He is a 2000 graduate of John

Burroughs High School.
