Burroughs dance classes holds sale

Members of the John Burroughs High School dance classes will have a

rummage and bake sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at the corner of

Keystone Street and Verdugo Avenue.

Items for sale include costumes, books, jewelry, clothes, toys,

glassware and more.

All money from this event will be used to purchase costumes for

the annual school show in April, and for participation in an upcoming

competition at Magic Mountain.

The school’s two dance teams each won a first-place finish at the

recent Sharp Competition at Burroughs in February and will compete at

the regional level.
