Woman stabbed during argument
A 30-year-old Burbank woman was arrested Monday morning after
allegedly stabbing a friend in the back during an argument.
Police were called to the 4300 block of Riverside Drive about 10
a.m. after a doctor reported a 34-year-old Burbank woman came in with
a stab wound, police said.
The woman told police she was arguing with a friend, 30-year-old
Tina Morse of Burbank, inside a car in the 1500 block of Burbank
Boulevard, police said. The two began striking each other, and Morse
stabbed the woman in the right shoulder blade with a pocketknife,
police said.
The woman was treated for a two-inch stab wound at a local clinic
and released. Police arrested Morse and charged her with assault with
a deadly weapon.
