Firefighters from Burbank and Glendale battled a house fire Tuesday

evening in the 1000 block of Lamer Street.

Fire dispatchers reported a fully involved one-story house fire

about 5:15 p.m. Few details were available late Tuesday, but

firefighters on-scene reported heavy fire to the rear of the home,

and the blaze apparently originated in the attic.

Glendale crews were called to help fight the fire just before 5:30

p.m. Firefighters reported a knockdown shortly after, and by 6 p.m.,

crews at the scene said there was only smoldering debris at the

house’s northwest corner.

Damage estimates and information on the fire’s cause were not

available late Tuesday.
