NORTHWEST DISTRICT

* 1500 block of Maple Street: A 17-year-old Burbank girl reported

Thursday a man in a car exposed himself to her. The girl was walking

when the man asked her for directions to the freeway. When she

approached the car, the man exposed himself and drove away.

MEDIA DISTRICT NORTH

* 1500 block of North Glenoaks Boulevard: A 38-year-old Burbank

woman reported Thursday a man tried to steal her purse in McCambridge

Park. The woman was walking in the park about 7 p.m. when a man on a

bike asked her for the time. When she looked at her watch, he tried

to pull her purse away from her, but she was able to hold onto it and

get inside her car. The man rode away on his bike.

* 1800 block of Peyton Avenue: Two apartments in the same complex

were burglarized sometime Wednesday. In one case, the burglar forced

a door lock open. In the other, police said the burglar kicked the

door in. Both apartments reported cash and jewelry being stolen.

* 1200 block of Scott Road: Someone broke into a home Wednesday

and stole cash and jewelry, police said. Officers were unable to

determine how the burglar entered the home.
