MEDIA DISTRICT NORTH

* 2900 N. San Fernando Blvd.: A 23-year-old Tujunga man wanted on

a no-bail burglary warrant was arrested Thursday on suspicion of

being a felon in possession of a handgun. Officers were investigating

him for the burglary charge, but when they searched his room at the

Ramada Inn they found a loaded 9mm handgun.

* Hollywood Way and Tulare Avenue: A 54-year-old Burbank man

reported Friday he was cut on the hand by a man with a knife during a

scuffle. The victim, a shuttle-bus driver, told police he was arguing

with a cab driver when several other cab drivers approached him, one

of whom allegedly swung the knife at him.

SOUTH SAN FERNANDO DISTRICT

* 107 S. First St.: A 20-year-old La Crescenta woman reported

Thursday she was assaulted in the restroom of BJ’s Burbank

Restaurant. She told police she was in the bathroom about 10 p.m.

when a woman slapped her and pushed her to the ground. A friend of

the victim came into the bathroom and separated the two, and the

suspect left before police arrived.

MAGNOLIA PARK

* Verdugo Avenue and Florence Street: A 16-year-old Burbank girl

reported Wednesday a man in a car exposed himself. She told police

she was walking when he drove up and asked for directions. When she

approached the car the man exposed himself.
