The following incidents were taken from police reports:

SOUTH SAN FERNANDO DISTRICT

* Alameda Avenue and Glenoaks Boulevard: A 32-year-old Burbank

man reported Wednesday he was punched by a group of four men

demanding cash. He said the men confronted him after he got off the

bus, and attacked him after he told them he had no money. The victim

was treated at a local hospital for bruises and cuts to the face.

HILLSIDE DISTRICT

* 100 block of North Fifth Street: A 39-year-old Lake View Terrace

man and a 20-year-old Burbank woman were arrested Tuesday on

suspicion of possessing a loaded handgun and drug paraphernalia.

Police stopped the two in a car after running the license plate and

learning there was a warrant for the man. When they searched the car,

police allegedly found a loaded .357-magnum handgun, drug

paraphernalia and possible methamphetamine.

MAGNOLIA PARK

* 2600 block of West Magnolia Boulevard:

A Burbank man reported Tuesday someone stole his 1986 Bayliner

boat from a parking lot. He told police the boat had been in the lot

on a trailer for several weeks. Tuesday morning, he noticed someone

had apparently hitched the trailer to their car and pulled the boat

away.

MEDIA DISTRICT WEST

* 300 block of Pass Avenue: A 37-year-old Oak Park man was

arrested Wednesday after allegedly aggressively confronting an

officer who stopped him for speeding. Police said the man was

driving 30 mph in a 15-mph zone. When he was pulled over, the man

allegedly clenched his fists and approached the officer threatening

to assault him. When other officers arrived, the man was taken into

custody.

NORTHWEST DISTRICT

* 900 block of North Parish Place: A 33-year-old Burbank man was

arrested Tuesday morning after allegedly stealing a Burbank woman’s

car. The woman was warming up the car outside her house when the man

allegedly drove away with it, just as her daughter was about to get

into the car. The woman called police and an officer in the area

stopped the car a few blocks away.
