Two Planning Board members step down
A member of Burbank’s Planning Board handed in her resignation and
another member will not be reapplying.
Carolyn Berlin has served on the five person board for more than
nine years, and resigned at the board’s Monday meeting. It is
effective May 31 on a term that expires in two years, she said.
Gary Olson, who has served four years, is not reapplying for a
seat on the board.
The five-member board recommends long-range general plans for the
city’s development, including granting or denying permits and
variances.
Planning Board meetings are open to the public and are held at 6
p.m. the second and fourth Monday of each month in City Council
chambers at City Hall, 275 E. Olive Ave.
