BARBARA TONE

Barbara Tone, 85, died May 7, 2003, in Burbank.

She was born June 10, 1917, in Burbank and lived in various houses

on the 900 block of East Magnolia Boulevard her entire life.

She was involved in the Parent Teacher Assn. at Emerson Elementary

School and was a Cub Scouts and Brownie Girl Scouts leader. She was

also active with First Presbyterian Church.

Mrs. Tone is survived by her son, Donald; a daughter, Helen

Vincent; and one granddaughter.

The memorial service was Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church.

GIANA CAPRI EDWARDS

Giana Capri Edwards, 26, died May 6, 2003, in Long Beach.

She was born April 7, 1977, in Burbank and lived in the city for

half of her life.

Ms. Edwards was a student attending Cal State Long Beach. She also

worked as a tour guide. Her interests were dancing, music and writing

poetry.

Ms. Edwards is survived by her mother, Robin; father, Joe; and

sister, Shanee.

The funeral service is at 12:30 p.m. today at Forest Lawn

Hollywood Hills.
