JACK MAURICE DARK

Jack Maurice Dark, 86, died May 21, 2003, in Burbank.

He was born Feb. 28, 1917, in Oklahoma and lived in Burbank for 30

years.

Mr. Dark was a German prisoner of war in World War II for 364

days.

He worked as a milkman for 25 years.

Mr. Dark is survived by his son, Rick; and two grandchildren.

The funeral service is at 2 p.m. Tuesday at First Christian

Church of North Hollywood, 4390 Colfax Ave., Studio City.

Valley Funeral Home is in charge of direction.

MICHAEL BULMER

Michael Bulmer, 52, died May 17, 2003, in Burbank.

He worked as the director of information services at Giorgio of

Beverly Hills.

Mr. Bulmer is survived by his sister and brother.

The funeral service is at 1:45 p.m. today at Calvary Temple

Pentecostal Holiness Church, 11958 Vanowen St., North Hollywood.

Interment will follow at Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to Fred

Jordan Mission, 445 Towne Ave., Los Angeles, CA 90013-2124.

Eckerman-Heisman Funeral Service is in charge of direction.

W. CHAUNCEY MEHLBERG

W. Chauncey Mehlberg, 92, died May 13, 2003, in Ontario.

He was a longtime Burbank resident. He worked as an airplane

assembler and mover for Lockheed Co.

Mr. Mehlberg is survived by his wife, Ruth Strohmeier Mehlberg;

and daughter, Patricia Stanley.

The visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. Tuesday at

Eckerman-Heisman Funeral Service, 333 E. Magnolia Blvd. The memorial

service will be at 11:30 a.m. Wednesday at First United Presbyterian

Church, 521 E. Olive Ave. The private interment will be at Glen Haven

Memorial Park, Sylmar.

BILL THOMPSON

Bill Thompson, 79, died May 17, 2003, in Fresno.

He was born in Iowa and was a longtime Burbank resident. He

graduated from Burbank High School in 1941.

Mr. Thompson served in the U.S. Coast Guard during World War II.

He also worked as a radio and TV announcer for the San Francisco

Giants.

He was recently inducted into the Fresno Sports Hall of Fame.

Mr. Thompson is survived by his children, Kathy and Brian; and two

grandchildren.

A memorial service in Fresno is pending.

EILEEN T. VOGT

Eileen T. Vogt, 72, died May 18, 2003, in Burbank.

She was born March 1, 1931, in Tujunga, and was a longtime Burbank

resident.

Mrs. Vogt is survived by her husband, C. Lyndol; son, Stephen; and

daughter, Lynette Ballas.

The funeral service was Friday at Forest Lawn, Glendale.
