LARSON
Alicia Maruska and Brian Larson, both of Santa Barbara, are
planning an October wedding following the announcement that they have
become engaged.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Richard and Chong Maruska of
Felton, Calif. She graduated with an associate in arts degree from
Cabrillo College. She continued her education, receiving her
bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara and her master’s degree from
UC Santa Cruz. She is employed at Westmont College in Santa Barbara.
The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Tom and Kathy Larson of
Glendale. He graduated from Crescenta Valley High School in 1997
where he was on the varsity volleyball team. He received his
bachelor’s degree from UC Santa Barbara. He is employed by Integrated
Procurement Technologies in Santa Barbara.
MCGOWAN -- ROSENBERRY
Kathleen McGowan and Charles F. Rosenberry, both of Hermosa Beach,
have announced their engagement. They will be married in June in La
Canada Flintridge.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Julie and L.O. McGowan of
Glendale. She graduated from Glendale High School and received her
bachelor’s degree in business and marketing from the University of
Colorado, Boulder. She is employed by Shorewood Realtors in Manhattan
Beach.
The groom-to-be is the son of Loel and Jim Rosenberry of Canyon
Lake, Calif. He received his bachelor’s degree in broadcasting from
the University of Tennessee and is a consultant for Electronic Data
Systems.
MASTERANI -- LINENBERGER
Ginny L. Masterani of Burbank and Darrick L. Linenberger of Downey
have announced their engagement and plan to marry in July.
The bride-to-be is the daughter of Connie Sharp-Deckelman and
Thomas A. Masterani of Burbank. She received her bachelor’s degree in
psychology from Azusa Pacific University and is attending graduate
school at Azusa Pacific, working toward a master’s degree in
educational psychology as well as receiving a pupil personnel
services credential.
The bridegroom-to-be is the son of Dennis and Laurie Linenberger
of Downey. He received his bachelor’s degree in sports medicine from
Azusa Pacific University and is attending graduate school, earning a
master’s degree in education from Azusa Pacific. He is employed as a
teacher at South Hills High School in West Covina.
