The following incidents were taken from police reports:

NORTHWEST DISTRICT

* 2100 block of North Maple Street: A 34-year-old Burbank man was

arrested late Friday on suspicion of swinging a knife at three police

officers. The officers went to the man’s home after he called police

29 times in a four-hour period, berating them with offensive

language. He allegedly swung an 11-inch knife at the officers

repeatedly, and then set it down in front of him, at which time two

officers grabbed him and took away a large stick he was also

wielding.

MEDIA DISTRICT WEST

* 4400 block of Kling Street: A Burbank woman reported being raped

in her home Friday night. She told police the man followed her home

and then attacked her. As of late Tuesday no arrests were made, but

police said the suspect was someone the victim knew.

MEDIA CITY CENTER

* 111 E. Magnolia Blvd.: A 30-year-old Sunland man was arrested

Monday on suspicion of lurking inside the women’s restroom at Sears.

A customer told police the man was inside one of the stalls with a

mirror trying to look into other stalls. He was detained by store

security until police arrived to place the man under arrest.

TOLUCA LAKE

* 4100 block of Franklin Avenue: A 41-year-old transient was

arrested Thursday on suspicion of walking into a Burbank man’s home.

The man was watching television when he noticed the male transient

looking through his glass doors. The suspect then opened the doors

and walked into the house. The Burbank man yelled at him and began

chasing him and CHP officers stationed nearby at Warner Bros. Studios

eventually apprehended the suspect.
