Carter will be the guest speaker at the Burbank Chamber of Commerce’s

monthly business connection luncheon on Thursday.

Carter’s speech, titled “Do unto Others Before They Sue unto You,”

follows the net- working session at 11:30 a.m. and lunch at noon at

Medical center

opens in Burbank

MAGNOLIA PARK -- Glendale Adventist Medical Center will host the

grand opening and open house of its Occupational Medical Center in

Burbank on Thursday.

The open house is from 3 to 7 p.m. at 2211 W. Magnolia Blvd.,

Suite 111. The ribbon-cutting is at 5 p.m.

The center specializes in the primary care of occupational

injuries, pre-placement physical examinations and other testing and

screening services to employers that need it for regulatory

compliance.
