The following incidents were taken from police reports:

BURBANK VILLAGE

* Olive Avenue and First Street: A 50-year-old man on a bicycle

was struck by a car in an alleged hit-and-run incident Wednesday. He

told police the car came through a red light and hit him, then drove

away. The man was taken to Providence St. Joseph Medical Center with

complaints of pain, but no visible injuries.

MEDIA DISTRICT WEST

* 300 block of Maple Street: A Burbank man reported Wednesday that

his 1976 Chevy pickup truck was stolen. He told police he parked the

truck on the street the night before but found it was missing when he

returned the next morning.

* 4400 block of Sarah Street: Police received two reports Tuesday

of stereos being stolen from parked cars in the 4200 and 4400 and

blocks of Sarah Street. In both cases, the thief got into the car by

smashing the rear passenger wing window. Police said the two

break-ins were probably related, given their proximity.
