Major items:

* Consideration of a recommendation from police that the planning

board be directed to hold a hearing on whether Gitana Restaurant is

in compliance with its conditional-use permit. The recommendation is

based on the high number of calls for police service during the past

eight months.

* Adoption of proposed amendments to the regulations for second

dwelling units to bring the municipal code into compliance with new

state law.

* Consideration of inviting Glendale and Pasadena to form a joint

committee to look at changing term lengths for commissioners to the

Airport Authority.

* Discussion of possible changes to the oral-communications

policy. Suggested options include expanding the time limit for each

speaker and eliminating one or more of the four oral-communications

periods.
