The following incidents were taken from police reports:

MEDIA DISTRICT NORTH

* 1800 Empire Ave.: Two 20-year-old Glendale men were arrested

Thursday on suspicion of punching a Los Angeles man in the face.

Police said the alleged assailants were selling cell phones at a

table outside Target when they got into a verbal altercation with the

victim and allegedly struck him. The victim was not seriously

injured.

* Empire Avenue and Frederic Street: A 32-year-old man and a

23-year-old man, both of North Hollywood, were arrested Friday on

suspicion of attempted carjacking. The victim, a 27-year-old Canoga

Park man, told police he gave the men a ride from North Hollywood,

but when he tried to drop them off, one of the men grabbed him around

the neck from the back seat. Police arrived shortly after and

arrested the two suspects.

BURBANK VILLAGE

* 148 E. Orange Grove Ave: Two 20-year-old Glendale men were

arrested Thursday on suspicion of throwing an Altadena man to the

ground and kicking him. The victim and an Altadena woman told police

they were eating at Elephant Bar and asked the suspects to stop

disturbing them inside the restaurant. When they left, the men were

waiting in the parking lot, where they allegedly spit on the woman

and attacked the man.
