Individuals seeking to add a second dwelling unit in a

single-family zone no longer need to obtain a conditional-use permit

but must comply with certain regulations.

GITANA RESTAURANT

WHAT HAPPENED

The council voted unanimously to hold a compliance hearing for the

restaurant before the planning board to see if excessive calls for

police service have violated its conditional-use permit.

WHAT IT MEANS

If the planning board finds that Gitana has violated its permit,

city staff could recommend a revocation hearing before the City

Council.
