Nominations being accepted for women in business awards

Local legislators are accepting nominations through July 31 for the

2003 Women in Business Awards.

State Sen. Jack Scott (D-Burbank) and Assemblyman Dario Frommer

(D-Burbank) are seeking nominations in 10 different categories from

community members, employees and employers.

The awards recognize outstanding female business leaders in the

21st Senate district and 43rd and 44th Assembly districts, and

include small businesswoman of the year, corporate woman of the year,

and nonprofit executive director of the year.

Recipients in each category will be recognized at a luncheon Oct.
