ROBERT ROY CLARK
Robert Roy Clark, 74, died July 27, 2003, in Burbank.
He was born Dec. 27, 1928, in Glendale and was a lifelong Burbank
resident.
He worked as a barber for 45 years. He was also a member of Elks
Lodge 1497 and the Magnolia Park Masonic Lodge.
Mr. Clark is survived by his wife, Pauline; sons, Joseph Dahlia,
Ronald Dahlia, Angelo Dahlia and Norman Dahlia; daughter, Chris Rome;
12 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. today at St. Francis
Xavier Catholic Church, 3801 Scott Road. The interment will be
private.

JENNY ANN CORNELL
Jenny Ann Cornell, 84, died July 23, 2003, in Orange.
She was born Feb. 17, 1919, in Scotia, N.Y., and lived in Burbank
for 50 years.
She worked as a seamstress in the garment industry for 15 years.
Mrs. Cornell is survived by two brothers and two nieces.
The funeral service was Tuesday at San Fernando Mission Cemetery,
Mission Hills.

GLADYS MAE KILNER
Gladys Mae Kilner, 96, died July 24, 2003, in Glendale.
She was born June 20, 1907, in Elkhorn, Neb., and lived in Burbank
for 57 years.
Mrs. Kilner is survived by two daughters; three stepchildren; six
grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
Friends are invited to pay their respects from 4 to 7 p.m. today
at Eckerman-Heisman Funeral Service, 333 E. Magnolia Blvd. The
memorial service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at First Presbyterian
Church of Burbank, 521 E. Olive Ave. The interment at Grand View
Memorial Park in Glendale will be private.

ARTHUR EDWARD ROCKWELL
Arthur Edward Rockwell, 65, died July 18, 2003, in Studio City.
He was born May 6, 1938, in New York and lived in Burbank for 20
years.
He worked as an investment analyst in the entertainment industry
for 30 years.
Mr. Rockwell is survived by his wife, Joan; sons, David Rockwell
and Larry Frontino; daughters, Sandi Black and Michele Lourds;
father, Edward; two grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
The memorial Mass was Friday at St. Robert Bellarmine Catholic
Church. The interment was private.

JULIA MARGARET
HOWARD SLATER
Julia Margaret Howard Slater, 68, died July 24, 2003, in Burbank.
She was born Sept. 7, 1934, in Glendale and lived in Burbank for
65 years.
She was an actress for 45 years and was a member of the Screen
Actors Guild. She was also a member of the Pi Beta Phi sorority and
loved animals.
Mrs. Slater is survived by her son, Jonathon Howard Slater; and
mother, Catherine Crow Howard.
The pending funeral service will be at Valhalla Memorial Park in
North Hollywood.
