Leadership Burbank is recruiting

Leadership Burbank is seeking participants for the organization’s

2003-04 program year beginning in September.

The 10-month leadership- training program, which conducts one

full-day class per month, has space for 26 students. Those interested

in becoming more involved in the community must apply by Aug. 15.

The sessions are designed to provide a foundation in leadership

concepts and principles. Throughout the program, participants will

interact with council members, state representatives, city department

heads, nonprofit directors and local business people.

Each session will explore the interrelated elements of the

community, including infrastructure, economic viability, police and

fire services and the environment.
