Juried exhibit opens with reception

BURBANK -- Burbank Art Assn. is presenting the Honors Division

10th Annual Juried Art Exhibit featuring many artists in the area

beginning with an opening reception from 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at the

Creative Arts Center Gallery, 1100 W. Clark Ave., Burbank.

The exhibit runs through Aug. 28. Gallery hours are from 9 a.m. to

8 p.m. Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday and 9 a.m. to

1 p.m. Saturday. For more information, call 238-5397.

Photographs of New York in exhibit

BURBANK -- Rick Penn-Kraus will be featured in an exhibit called

“New York: Black and White Photos from Before You-Know-When” at Wax

Poetic Salon.

A reception is from 8 p.m. to midnight Aug. 22 at the salon, 3208

W. Magnolia Blvd. Refreshments will be served.
